The Opportunity

Reporting to the Center Manager, in the absence of the center manager, you will have ultimate responsibility for entire center operations, including production, quality compliance, finance, HR, and IT.

This position is located on-site at our center in Buffalo, NY.

The Role

• Ensure compliance with all Company SOPs and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Participate in collecting and analyzing data to maintain center quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with the center manager to assist with quality compliance by meeting company, regulatory, and customer requirements to safeguard the purity and efficacy of the plasma and the safety of donors and employees.
• Work with quality personnel and QA team to develop corrective action plans to address any areas of deficiency noted during audits.
• Ensure the center and all employees comply with OSHA regulations, complete all OSHA record keeping and reporting.
• Handle employee recruitment, training, counseling, termination, and corrective action programs, following HR policies to ensure fair treatment.
• Support the center's marketing and advertising efforts.
• Overnight travel up to 10%.

Your skills and experience

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience overseeing a team.
• Working Conditions: Spend up to 80% of time standing/walking, occasionally lift up to 25 lbs, spend 60% of time auditing and observing operations, may work with hazardous chemicals, exposed to extreme temperatures and bloodborne pathogens, requiring PPE.
