Assistant Cost Manager MEP (Global Capability Center)

Cost Management/Quantity Surveying

As an Assistant Cost Manager MEP at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams, nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. In this role, you will:

1. Attend key meetings and design reviews to monitor progress, actively collaborate on solving problems, and communicate impacts to partners
2. Participate in site walks with GC, Cost Manager, and client PM, assessing progress and identifying potential cost impacts
3. Effectively consolidate data to prepare detailed estimates, ad-hoc cost reports, and analyses
4. Maintain the project change management logs with attention to detail and accuracy
5. Partner with the extended Cost Management team to complete complex client tasks
6. Monitor the financial close-out on all projects, including settlement of vendors

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have a qualification in surveying, engineering, or trade experience in mechanical or electrical fields
• Have an understanding of MEP systems and the ability to read services drawings and schematics
• Have previously thrived in an MEP quantity surveying role
• Are chartered or on the path to complete it. We can help.
• Have experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects
• Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
