Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead teaching staff, support families, and achieve enrollment, accreditation, and operational goals. Working with a world-class curriculum, you will collaborate with Center Director and teams to ensure high-quality care and education for children.

As part of our team, you will engage with parents, educators, and community partners, contribute to a supportive workplace, and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
• Ability to assume postures to supervise children and maintain safety.
• Indicate if you require reasonable accommodation to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
