Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers and support a team of teachers, families, and partners. You will collaborate with the Center Director to drive enrollment, maintain accreditation, and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will work with passionate staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education, communicate with families, and uphold state guidelines while supporting a positive learning environment for children and their families.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer and lift 40 pounds.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
