Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a dedicated Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers to success. You will educate parents, teachers, and leaders about the value of early childhood education and bring that value to life for the children in your center.

As an Assistant Director, you will work with the Center Director to drive enrollment, accreditation, and day-to-day operations, collaborating with families and state authorities while ensuring a supportive learning environment

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
• Serve in various roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
