Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our center to success. You will work with the Center Director to guide teaching staff, support families, and drive enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations.

With KinderCare’s curriculum and licensing standards, you will educate parents and staff on the value of early childhood education and bring that value to life for the children in your center. This role emphasizes teamwork and community.

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience required, with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the classroom application.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills required.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Serve in various roles as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver
