Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director who will support the Center Director in guiding teaching staff, engaging families, and reaching enrollment and accreditation goals. You will collaborate with parents and partners to deliver high-quality early education in a dynamic center setting.

You’ll play multiple roles as needed, including teacher, cook, or driver, while upholding safety standards and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience in a classroom setting.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
