Job summary

KinderCare Education is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers to success with our world-class curriculum and accreditation processes. You will educate families and staff on the value of early childhood education and bring that value to life for the children in your center.

You will collaborate with parents, teachers, and leaders to meet enrollment, quality, and operational goals while supporting a team in a dynamic, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically capable of lifting 40 pounds and working indoors/outdoors.
• English communication proficiency with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
• Serve in various roles as needed, including teacher, cook, or driver.
