Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers to success, leveraging our world-class curriculum and accreditation processes. You will educate parents, teachers, and leaders on early childhood education values and bring them to life for children in the center.

As a key part of the team, you’ll support enrollment goals, maintain strong family relationships, and ensure smooth center operations while collaborating with a network of passionate

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience required, with understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift up to 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• Indicate if you require reasonable accommodation to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
