Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Pembroke, MA is seeking an Assistant Director to join the center leadership team. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations and a culture where staff, children, and families thrive, overseeing enrollment, teacher retention, events, and daily routines.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, EEC Director II, First Aid/CPR, and 2–4 years of leadership experience in an early childhood setting; you will partner with the

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related experience/training.
• EEC Director II Certification and active First Aid/CPR.
• Solid understanding of licensure regulations and updates.
• 2–4 years experience in Assistant Director or similar leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee center operations in line with regulations and Magical Beginnings' policies.
• Maintain child-to-teacher ratios, safety standards, and licensure readiness.
• Prepare for licensing visits and communicate with licensors.
• Keep staff and child files compliant and conduct monthly fire drills.
• Schedule staff within payroll budgets while upholding quality standards.
• Lead teaching team, build strong staff relationships, and run meetings.
• Support curriculum delivery and monitor development using appropriate tools.
• Provide excellent customer service to families and staff.
