Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our center, support families, and drive enrollment and accreditation goals.

With our world-class curriculum and team of dedicated teachers, you will educate parents and staff, partner with licensing authorities, and step into various roles to ensure smooth operations. This on-site role requires at least two years in early childhood education and strong administrative skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of early childhood education experience; knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom.
• Excellent administrative and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to meet state-specific guidelines.
• Able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to supervise children physically and visually in various positions.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
