Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director to help lead our centers with a focus on enrollment, accreditation, and high-quality care. You will partner with families, guide teaching staff, and collaborate with licensing authorities to ensure compliant operations.

You will also step into various roles within the center as needed, including educator, kitchen staff, or driver, while upholding our mission to support children’s development and families' needs.

Qualifications

• At least two years in early childhood education and understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
