KinderCare in Knoxville is seeking an energetic Assistant Center Director to support teaching staff, families, and daily operations.

You will partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, help meet enrollment goals, and ensure compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards. This role may involve stepping into multiple positions at times, including classroom support, administrative tasks, and coordinating safety practices.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices.
• Ability to apply developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English fluently.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift at least 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
• Meet state-specific guidelines for the role and ensure compliance.
