Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director in Minnesota to support Center Director, teachers, and families. You will help drive enrollment, accreditation, and daily operations while ensuring high-quality early childhood education.

With at least two years of ECE experience, you will lead staff, partner with parents, and coordinate with licensing authorities. The role offers a competitive hourly pay range ($23.00–$26.85) and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, and/or driver.
