Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking an Assistant Center Director who will help lead teaching staff, support families, and drive enrollment and accreditation goals. You will collaborate with parents and state authorities to ensure high-quality care and education for children in our centers.

You will also build partnerships with families, community contacts, and corporate partners, while filling roles as needed to keep center operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Two years of early childhood education experience.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Physically able to use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director in leading teaching staff, supporting families, and achieving enrollment, accreditation, and operational objectives.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
• Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed, including teacher, cook, or driver.
