Job summary

BrightPath Kids USA is seeking a capable Center Supervisor to support center Directors in coordinating services and managing day-to-day operations at our East Mesa location. This role focuses on ensuring quality programming and smooth operation under licensing guidelines.

You will supervise staff, conduct tours, address parent inquiries, and help drive enrollment targets while promoting professional development and community events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience caring for preschoolers and managing an educational program in a licensed childcare center or similar setting.
• High school graduation or GED with 15 semester units in Early Childhood Education (3 in staff/administration, 12 in child growth and development, 4 in teaching).
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child, Family and Community, Preschool Curriculum or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts in place of the Center Director when they are not on the premises.
• Maintains current knowledge of early childhood best practices and quality programming through State licensing requirements and guidelines.
• Provides professional development by teaching teams and through attendance at semi-annual conferences.
• Supervises and assists classroom staff as needed; fills in as needed.
• Coordinates special and community events, including open houses with the Center Director.
• Addresses all parent complaints, concerns, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Assists the Center Director in achieving the monthly average enrollment target of 90%.
• Conducts tours for prospective families, parents, and staff.

Education

High school graduation or GED with 15 semester units in Early Childhood Education

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Master’s Degree preferred

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 Years of experience caring for preschoolers and managing an educational program in a licensed childcare center or similar settings; OR
• High school graduation or GED and 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education or specific early childhood education classes. 15 semesters include 3 in staff and administration, 12 units in child growth and development, and 4 in teaching; OR
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Child, Family and Community, Preschool Curriculum, or related field; and
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Must adhere to the guidelines under Community Care Licensing Title 22 for Child Care Centers.
