Weaver Brands is seeking an Assistant Category Manager to support product development, commercialization, and category initiatives for the Weaver Equine brand. You will coordinate products from concept through launch while working with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Manufacturing, and Customer Care.

Responsibilities include managing samples and timelines, conducting market research, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and coordinating milestones for successful launches.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Development, Project Management, Design, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Early-career experience in product development, category support, project coordination, marketing, or sales support preferred.
• Strong organization, project management, and multi-priority handling abilities.
• Clear communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Creative mindset with interest in products, materials, design, consumer brands.
• Experience with project tracking or product management tools a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate product development and commercialization activities from concept through launch.
• Manage product samples, testing, revisions, timelines, and development with suppliers and internal teams.
• Keep development projects organized by coordinating milestones, approvals, and launch readiness.
• Conduct competitive reviews and market research to identify trends and improvements.
• Gather feedback from customers, sales teams, reps, Customer Care, and end users for category decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, Manufacturing, and Customer Care to support launches.
• Assist with sales presentations, product information, training materials, merchandising initiatives, and customer resources.
• Support and attend trade shows, customer events, vendor open houses, sales meetings, and product launches as needed.
