Job summary

El Cortez Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Cage Manager to support the Cage Manager in managing the casino’s financial operations, overseeing cage staff, providing training, and maintaining strong internal controls.

You will help develop strategic plans for cage, supervise daily cash handling, ensure federal compliance, assist with budgets, and drive operational improvements while delivering excellent guest service.

Qualifications

Strong leadership and communication skills.
Deep understanding of state and federal gaming regulations.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and staff development.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with large currency.
Pre-employment background and credit check required.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing strategic cage, count rooms, and guest rewards plans.
Oversee daily cash handling and large cash reserves with compliance.
Train and supervise cage supervisors and cashiers.
Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Title 31.
Help implement procedures to safeguard assets and prevent loss.
Contribute to budgeting and monitor financial performance.
