Job summary

Tillys, a leading casual retailer, is seeking an Assistant Buyer in Irvine, CA. You will support the Buyer in daily operations, including purchase orders, sample coordination, markdowns, trend research, reporting, and order tracking.

The role requires 1–2 years of Assistant Buying experience and a High School Diploma. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus strong communication and organizational skills, are essential. This is a full-time, in-office position in Irvine.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyer with day-to-day department functions.
• Generate and manage Purchase Orders, coordinate samples and markdowns.
• Track order status and receipts, maintain files, and ensure accurate assortments.
• Create weekly reports and recaps; collaborate with Allocation, Marketing, and Visual teams.
• Coordinate fittings, photo shoots, and meetings; ensure quality control of orders.
