Job summary

Anthropologie, a URBN brand, is seeking an Assistant Buyer to partner with the Buyer to shape a timely Sleep & Intimates product assortment. You will help ensure a customer-focused mix that hits profitability and plan targets.

Responsibilities include assortment execution, vendor collaboration, reporting, and maintaining Buy Sheets. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential to succeed in this team-driven role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of direct buying experience.
• Ability to select products that appeal to the target customer.
• Understanding of key retail metrics (IMU%, MD%, GM%, selloff, WOS, OTB).
• Professional communication with internal/external teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with urgency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Buyer to determine the overall product mix for each buying area.
• Provide feedback in styleout and product meetings.
• Collaborate with buyers and vendor partners on product development.
• Provide ad hoc statistical reports and maintain buy sheets.
• Maintain Excel reports for buyers and planners.
• Take photos of samples and manage photo logs.
