Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking an Assistant Buyer for Sleep & Intimates to partner with the Buyer on timely product assortments that hit sales and profit targets. You will help determine the mix, provide feedback in meetings, and collaborate with vendors to drive development.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years buying experience, strong customer-focused instincts, and solid MS Office skills. You will support reporting, photo logs, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct buying experience.
• Ability to select product/trend for target customer.
• Understand IMU, GM, sell-through and OTB concepts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with urgency.
• Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Buyer to determine overall mix for buying area to meet profit plan.
• Provide feedback in product/style meetings.
• Collaborate with buyer and vendor partners on product development.
• Provide ad hoc statistical reports to Buyers on request.
• Maintain Buy Sheets by class and relevant Excel reports.
• Take photos of samples and maintain photo logs/libraries.
