Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an Assistant Buyer for a growing Escondido manufacturing operation. You will support purchasing, supplier follow-ups, material availability, and PO accuracy in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with Procurement, Receiving, Production, and AP to ensure correct quantities, pricing, and delivery. Strong QuickBooks and Excel skills are required to succeed onsite.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of purchasing/procurement support experience.
• Hands-on QuickBooks experience required.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas and lookups.
• Experience with purchase orders, supplier follow-up, receiving docs, and invoice research.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, revise, and maintain purchase orders in QuickBooks.
• Monitor open POs, supplier confirmations, lead times, past-due orders, and shortages.
• Communicate with suppliers on pricing, availability, MOQs, freight, and status.
• Coordinate returns, RMAs, credits, replacements, refunds, and related docs.
• Partner with Receiving and AP to resolve discrepancies and maintain purchasing records.
