Job summary

MadaLuxe Group in California is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support the buying team with data processing, reporting, and vendor coordination. You’ll leverage Excel to analyze sell-through, inventory, and PO data while maintaining accuracy across ERP inputs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with large data sets, can meet tight deadlines, and works well with cross-functional teams to drive informed buying decisions and growth of our luxury portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in fashion wholesale buying or merchandising.
• Strong analytical ability with emphasis on Excel and its functions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assess internal and external data for analysis.
• Assist with pulling reports (sell-through, inventory, open PO, sales histories).
• Organize product information, research and tagging.
• Issue, check and manage POs/order confirmations with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders within ERP (cost, style code, shipping).
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure shipping details and deliveries.
• Perform competitive pricing research and MSRP data collection.
• Support admin duties for sales and buying as needed.
