The University of Akron is seeking an Assistant Building Services Worker to perform custodial and maintenance tasks across campus facilities, including classrooms and offices. You will clean floors, restrooms, offices, empty trash, stock supplies and assist with snow removal under general supervision.

An Assistant Building Services Worker position involves performing custodial and maintenance duties to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, furniture, and fixtures. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining floors, carpets, furniture, restrooms, and common areas; emptying trash; stocking supplies; and removing snow and ice from walkways. Work is carried out under general supervision across classrooms, offices and other campus facilities. This is a Union position for which The Communications Workers of America has been designated as the exclusive representative.
Additional Position Information: Assistant Building Services Worker – $15.00/hr., after one year $15.43/hr.+ Full Benefits + Pension & Paid Time Off.
