Arbor Homes is hiring an Assistant Builder for communities in the Central Indiana market, including Indianapolis. This role partners with a Construction Builder to manage daily tasks, quality checks, and site readiness across homes.

You will learn the home building process, shadow pre-construction activities, and help ensure a timely, quality build. The team emphasizes customer service, growth, and a collaborative culture, with benefits and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Builder with daily tasks: unlock and walk each house every morning.
• Use Quality Control checklist to confirm progress and quality of work.
• Install construction knobs on newly framed houses.
• Ensure job readiness for the next trade.
• Keep houses, garages, lots and common areas clean by managing subcontractors and holding them accountable.
• Support trades to keep the house moving as needed.
• Learn the home building process and schedule.
• Shadow pre-construction and closing walks under the Superintendent.
• During winter, maintain heat in houses and assist with snow removal.
