Job summary

Airgas is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager for Panama City, FL to support the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, safety, and route deliveries. You will help drive sales, manage staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong customer service skills, and a valid CDL with HAZMAT endorsement. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of supervisory and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
• Customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, with 1–3 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Branch Manager to support route drivers and customer deliveries.
• Assist with safety, regulatory compliance (OSHA, FDA, EPA, DOT), and SOP adherence.
• Provide guidance to branch staff and ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Help manage inventory, paperwork, and branch shipments.
• Advance sales activity for walk-in customers and support outside sales.
• Utilize dashboards to inform routing decisions and improve efficiency.
