Job summary

Mountain America Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for our Salt Lake City, UT branch. You will lead daily branch operations, coach staff, and ensure exceptional member experiences while achieving branch goals.

The role requires 3+ years in financial services with lending experience and a two-year degree, plus notary eligibility. This is a full-time position with a standard Mon-Fri schedule and Saturday hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of financial industry experience, which includes 1+ years of lending experience.
• Notary Public or ability to obtain within first 90 days where possible.
• Must be able to qualify annually as a Mortgage Loan Originator under S.A.F.E Act Registration.
• Supervisory responsibilities for a team of 10+ employees in branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily branch operations to ensure accurate cash handling and compliance.
• Coach and develop branch staff to deliver exceptional member experiences and meet sales goals.
• Approve/deny loans as back-up for Branch Manager; manage production metrics.
• Collaborate with internal partners to serve members and drive branch performance.
• Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and security measures at the branch.
