Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager in Austin to lead daily branch operations, support sales and profitability, and coordinate procurement, inventory, and customer service. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and teams to ensure service excellence and accurate order processing.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a company or personal vehicle for occasional duties.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in branch operations or management.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with sales order processes and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch staff.
• Manage branch in the Branch Manager's absence and drive sales/profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, shipping, warehousing, and sales per company policy.
• Investigate customer complaints and adjust resources as needed.
• Schedule staff, analyze budgets and variances, and support counter sales.
