Qualifications

• Three or more years in leadership, supervisory, sales, operations, or related roles.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop employees in a team environment.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience supporting sales initiatives and achieving performance goals.
• Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, or building materials operations preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with day-to-day branch operations.
• Coach, train, and develop branch employees to sustain a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
• Help set, monitor, and achieve branch sales and profitability goals.
• Support business development to attract new customers and strengthen relationships.
• Monitor sales activities and implement strategies to drive revenue and market share.
• Address customer inquiries and service issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with inventory management, stock levels, receiving, and product availability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive work environment.
• Support reporting, documentation, and operational records.
• Analyze branch performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, Finance and others to meet objectives.
• Assist with cash management, security, and asset protection as needed.
• Serve as acting branch leader in the Branch Manager’s absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
