Job summary

Triangle Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in Manchester, NH and oversee loan activities. The role emphasizes staff development, financial product promotion, and adherence to service standards in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of related experience, leadership aspirations, and a background in lending or mortgage operations to help the branch meet its financial and service goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of similar or related experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Lending or Mortgage experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications recognized in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and developing a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of the members.
• Assist to develop a Sales Culture to promote all TCU products and services and financial planning offered through TFG, LLC.
• Focus on Teller/FSR/Lending Procedures, TCU's Service Standards, Staff Development, Support, Mentoring and Coaching.
• Proficient in all duties of a Branch Manager and capable of running the office in the Manager's absence.
• Develop into an FSR, servicing members as needed.
• Keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the branch.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Role:

To assist the Branch Manager and to oversee the loan activities of the Branch; help to ensure the Branch meets financial, operational, service, and growth plans.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Assists in maintaining and developing a qualified staff sufficient to meet the needs of the members.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience Three (3) to five (5) years of similar or related experience

Experience in a leadership role preferred

Education (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
