Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a senior geotechnical engineer with leadership experience to guide CMT/geotechnical staff and projects across our nationwide practice. The role emphasizes mentoring, report review, and active involvement in client development and market expansion.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license and an ABET-accredited civil engineering degree with 10–15 years of relevant experience, and will collaborate with diverse teams on complex geotechnical assignments.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering - ABET-accredited program.
• PE license required.
• 10–15 years of technical and managerial experience in geotechnical/CMT.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor CMT/geotechnical staff and projects.
• Develop staff, market ECS services, and pursue client opportunities.
• Prepare senior level geotechnical reports and reviews.
• Collaborate with CMT and geotechnical teams on projects.

• Working with both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical staff and projects
• Senior level review and preparation of geotechnical reports

• An affinity for marketing and business development
• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering - other similar engineering degrees considered if program is ABET accredited
