Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a senior geotechnical leader in Pennsylvania to manage and grow our geotechnical and CMT teams. The role combines technical leadership with business development, client engagement, and staff mentorship.

You will oversee geotechnical projects, prepare senior-level reports, and help raise the firm’s profile in the marketplace. PE licensure and 10–15 years’ experience are expected.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering; ABET-accredited programs preferred.
• 10-15 years of technical and managerial experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Leading and building the geotechnical team, bringing in work and performing it.
• Staff development and market visibility for the firm.
• Managing and mentoring of CMT/geotechnical staff.
• Working with CMT and geotechnical staff and projects.
• Senior level review and preparation of geotechnical reports.
• Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services.
• Affinity for marketing and business development.

• Working with both construction materials testing (CMT) and geotechnical staff and projects
• Senior level review and preparation of geotechnical reports
• Client and business development, as well as assisting other staff in marketing our services
• An affinity for marketing and business development

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering – other similar engineering degrees considered if program is ABET accredited
• 10-15 years of technical and managerial experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
