Assistant Branch Manager
The incumbent is responsible for providing superior banking services to customers in a professional, efficient manner, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality in a complex retail environment not traditionally nor primarily associated with the sale of banking services. Through in-depth product knowledge, provides customers with a clear understanding of the technical aspects and benefits of Jeff Bank consumer products and services. Aggressively sells and facilitates the cross sale of all Jeff Bank products and services. Works independently and proactively to increase business activity and expand Jeff Bank customer base through successful selling and prospecting techniques, contributing to the achievement of overall office growth goals. Education/Training: A B.S. or B.A. degree in related field of study preferred, advanced training in banking specific courses.
Skill(s): Interpretive reasoning ability, analytical skills, advanced communication skills, access equipment at various levels, support oneself in an erect position, ability to push, pull lift heavy/large objects (coin bags), move small objects precisely, perform substantial repetitive motions, possess visual acuity for close to long distances, hear with a high level of background noise, exhibit complex proficiency with limited supervision, demonstrate control, planning, and creativity, deal with people, influence others, work precisely, respond to variety and change, and have demonstrated problem solving capabilities. Above average technical skills (ATM, computer, and office machines), a valid driver’s license and notary license required.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of prior related experience in a retail/banking environment or a Bachelor degree with related experience. Ability to work independently.
