Avis Budget Group seeks an Assistant Branch Manager to help lead airport staff and oversee daily operations at our Seattle location. Under the Station Manager, you will train, coach, and motivate agents, fostering a high-energy sales and service culture.

The ideal candidate combines people leadership with sales drive and a passion for customer satisfaction, thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and supporting a seamless rental experience.

Qualifications

• Must have prior supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will aid in the development and direction of the airport staff and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operational activities at the airport location. Under the direction of the Station Manager, you will help to encourage a positive team environment and aid in the development of sales and customer service skills for our agents through training, coaching, motivating, and example setting. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, sales motivated, has a passion for sales & customer service and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the airport location
• Encourage a positive team environment
• Motivate and develop staff
• Assist in hiring, training, evaluating, and scheduling employees

• Effectively communicate with customers, responding to all customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner both on the telephone and in person
• Ensure a positive customer experience, while also promoting our additional products and services
• Work a mostly consistent schedule with rotating weekends

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Must be able to perform data entry and computer entry tasks
• Capacity to learn extensive training material and apply daily on the job
• Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management
• Previous sales experience preferred with the ability to coach and lead employees to goals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be physically able to assist our customers at our rental counter, which will include standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to work flexible schedules which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Able to handle confidential information
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and good driving record
