White Cap is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Denton, TX to lead on-site branch operations and support sales and customer service. The role emphasizes managing staff, inventory, and daily workflows to ensure efficient branch performance.

The position requires experience in branch operations, a focus on safety and reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On-site work is expected with strong collaboration across teams.

• 5+ years of experience in branch operations or management.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch staff.
• Manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence and help drive sales and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per company policies.
• Resolve customer issues including damaged items, overcharges, and delays; adjust resources as needed.
• Handle branch-level operational problems and inventory discrepancies; implement fixes.
• Assist customers and support counter/inside sales; ensure correct and timely billing of orders.
• Schedule staff and monitor budgets and variances.
• Generally require 5+ years of experience in the role.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

An Assistant Branch Manager at White Cap…

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.

• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence. Assists the manager in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.

• Assists with the coordination of procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures established by the organization.

• Solves problems at the branch level. Investigates customer complaints involving matters such as damaged items, overcharges, and shipment/delivery delays. Makes necessary resource adjustments.

• Manages operational branch level problems, investigates inventory discrepancies, and makes adjustments as required.

• Serves customers and supports the counter and inside sales functions as necessary. Ensures all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner. Schedules staff and analyzes budgets and variances.

• Generally has 5+ years of experience.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

• Spanish language proficiency.
