White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager for an on-site role in the Texas area. You will support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch staff while assisting the Branch Manager with strategy to grow sales and profitability.

The position requires leadership experience and the ability to coordinate procurement, inventory, and logistics. The role includes handling customer issues, ensuring accurate billing, scheduling staff, and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in branch or operations leadership.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Support talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence and help drive sales and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales per policy.
• Resolve branch-level issues and investigate customer complaints.
• Oversee budgets and scheduling; ensure orders are billed correctly and timely.

An Assistant Branch Manager at White Cap…

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.

• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence. Assists the manager in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.

• Assists with the coordination of procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures established by the organization.

• Solves problems at the branch level. Investigates customer complaints involving matters such as damaged items, overcharges, and shipment/delivery delays. Makes necessary resource adjustments.

• Manages operational branch level problems, investigates inventory discrepancies, and makes adjustments as required.

• Serves customers and supports the counter and inside sales functions as necessary. Ensures all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner. Schedules staff and analyzes budgets and variances.

• Generally has 5+ years of experience.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.

• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

• Proficient with Windows applications

• Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks
