White Cap is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager in Texas to lead branch sales and operations in the manager's absence. You will oversee procurement, inventory, shipping/receiving, and warehousing while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, ability to manage staff, schedule, and budgets, and a valid MVR for vehicle operation. Forklift familiarity and Oracle experience are preferred as part of the team that builds America.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in field operations.
• Experience with sales order software (Oracle preferred).
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products is a plus.
• Proficient with Windows applications.
• Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks.

Responsabilités

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence and helps drive sales and profitability.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping/receiving, warehousing, and sales per company policies.
• Investigate customer complaints and resolve issues like damaged items, overcharges, or delays.
• Manage branch-level operational problems and inventory discrepancies.
• Serve customers and support counter and inside sales; ensure accurate billing and timely service.
• Schedule staff and analyze budgets and variances.

An Assistant Branch Manager at White Cap…

• Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
• Manages the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence. Assists the manager in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
• Assists with the coordination of procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures established by the organization.
• Solves problems at the branch level. Investigates customer complaints involving matters such as damaged items, overcharges, and shipment/delivery delays. Makes necessary resource adjustments.
• Manages operational branch level problems, investigates inventory discrepancies, and makes adjustments as required.
• Serves customers and supports the counter and inside sales functions as necessary. Ensures all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner. Schedules staff and analyzes budgets and variances.
• Generally has 5+ years of experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• Proficient with Windows applications
• Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks
