Job summary

Elk River Area School District seeks a qualified coach to provide leadership in athletics and activities at Rogers High School. The role includes planning practices and competitions, guiding staff, and fostering student participation to reach peak performance.

The coach will supervise facilities and equipment, work with families and the community, and ensure compliance with MSHSL rules and district policies. Experience in coaching and safety protocols is expected.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in coaching or staff supervision.
• Knowledge of safety, equipment, and physical fitness.
• Ability to enforce rules and regulations (MSHSL) and district policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare successful practice/rehearsals and game/performance plans.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff.
• Encourage student participation and establish rapport.
• Motivate participants/athletes to achieve maximum potential.
• Maintain equipment and uniforms.
• Supervise all areas of participation including but not limited to: gyms, fields, arenas, theater, locker or dressing rooms, buses, etc.
• Work collaboratively with staff, Activities Director, families and community resources.
• Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL.
• Complies with and supports all school district regulations and policies.
