Job summary

Shakopee Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach to support the program for lower levels. The role involves leading drills, supporting the Head Coach, and contributing to practice and game-day duties.

The position is 15 hours per week, with the season running November through March, and compensation as a stipend under the Teacher Contract. Prior playing or coaching experience is preferred, and a bachelor's degree is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and educational experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a player and/or coach preferred.
• Gym and classroom environment. Ability to teach/coach basketball skills.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, manage, and teach overall on and off court training drills.
• Assist Head Coach during practices and games with duties assigned.
• Support the Girls Basketball program for lower levels.
