Job summary

Shakopee School District is seeking an Assistant Boys Hockey coach for a district-wide program. This 15 hours/week role runs Monday through Saturday and starts immediately.

The assistant will support the Boys Hockey program under the Head Coach, leading on-ice and off-ice drills during practices and assisting with games for Varsity and JV teams. The position is stipend-based under the Teacher Contract, with preference for candidates holding a Bachelor degree and prior coaching or playing

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and educational experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a player and/or coach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and manage on-ice and off-ice training drills during practices.
• Assist with Varsity and JV game duties as assigned by Head Coach.
