The Ashokan Center, a nonprofit environmental education center in Ulster County, NY, is seeking an Assistant Bookkeeper to work in-person full-time. You will support the Finance Director with accurate financial records, payroll, and reconciliation tasks, and help maintain documentation across multiple systems.
Key responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, vendor setup, and processing of payroll-related entries. Weekend work may be required during Ashokan events.

The Ashokan Center, a 501c (3) not for profit, is looking for a bright, reliable, energetic, flexible, customer service and detail-oriented Assistant Bookkeeper. You will work with the Finance Director to maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, support payroll and reconciliation processes, as well as ensuring timely documentation and filing across multiple systems. On occasion, it will be necessary to work over the weekend during Ashokan events.
