Albany State University seeks an Assistant Baseball Coach to support the NCAA Division II program on the West/East campuses. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, three years of baseball coaching experience, and knowledge of using technology to enhance pitchers and hitters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three years of baseball coaching experience at the high school, travel ball or collegiate level as a volunteer, GA, or assistant.
• Knowledge to provide in depth scouting reports and knowledge of using technology to enhance our pitchers and hitters.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
• Recruiting Experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, develops and supervises players at practice and in competition.
• Works with hitters, pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders.
• Prepares pre-game scouting reports and defensive alignments.
• Compiles video and data analysis to present to student athletes.
• Assists in maintaining facilities around the baseball complex.
• Assesses and monitors student athlete academic success.
• Recruits and analyzes potential student athletes for the baseball program.
• Travel paperwork, food arrangements, and laundry.
