Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking an Apprentice Bartender to support experienced bartenders and service guests in a fast-paced casino environment. The role emphasizes courteous, professional guest interactions and meticulous bar cleanliness and stocking.

The ideal candidate is 21+, with a High School Diploma and at least six months’ bartending or restaurant experience, strong English communication, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

Summary Statement:

The Apprentice Bartender is responsible for servicing the guests in a courteous and professional manner, while assisting bartenders throughout the course of business. This role ensures bar areas are always cleaned, organized, and properly stocked with prepped ingredients.

Primary Job Duties:

Includes but is not limited to:

• Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar area.
• Ensure the bar is properly stocked with supplies necessary for service.
• Replenish ice coolers, garnish trays, straws, and napkins holders.
• Ensure bar equipment and supplies are clean and in working order.
• Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
• Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
• Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
• Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
• Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months experience working in a similar bar or restaurant setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
