Hawksmoor New York opened to rave reviews in 2021 in a National Historic Landmark- The United Charities Building. We are now excited to commence the search for an Assistant Bar Manager to lead, inspire, develop and motivate our bar team to ensure world class service and cocktails for every guest.

This role will ensure beverage consistency, quality and will be instrumental in providing world class bar service.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience running top bars in New York.
• Comfortable with high-volume covers and revenue.
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a strong culture and work ethic.
• Exemplary product knowledge of food and beverage.
• Strong leadership with coaching and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bar team with excellent service and hospitality to Hawksmoor standards.
• Motivate, train, teach, guide and nurture bartenders and barbacks.
• Maintain excellent rapport with team and guests.
• Manage stock takes, ordering and general operational duties.

This role will ensure beverage consistency, quality and will be instrumental in providing world class bar service. Premium cocktail experience alongside managing a large team with a high volume of guests will be ideal.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include

• Leading the bar team with excellent service and hospitality to the Hawksmoor standard.
• Ability to motivate, train, teach, guide and nurture the bartenders and barbacks
• Excellent rapport with your team and guests.
• Stock takes, ordering and general operational duties

To Be Considered For The Role You Will Have

• Extensive experience running some of the top bars in New York
• Comfortable and experienced with high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue.
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills.

• Exemplary product knowledge of food and beverage.
