Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami is seeking a Beverage Manager to assist the Beverage Manager and oversee the shipboard beverage operation. The role will direct the bar function and related activities, either personally or through supervisors, to ensure quality and guest satisfaction aboard the vessel.

The ideal candidate brings extensive managerial experience in beverage management on cruise ships, a hospitality or business degree, and strong supervisory and analytical skills to manage

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of managerial experience in Beverage Management on a cruise ship.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field.
• Supervisory experience with at least 30 employees.
• Knowledge of beverage brands and quality of liquors, wine, and beers.
• Ability to manage international staff and provide customerservice.
• Proficiency in analyzing documents and calculating figures.
• Familiarity with USPH rules.
• Understanding of business and organizational planning, human resources, and guestsatisfaction techniques.
• Working knowledge of computer software and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire shipboard beverage operation.
• Direct the bar function and related activities throughout the vessel.
• Supervise beverage staff and manage subordinate supervisors.
