We are hiring an Assistant Banquet Manager OEM $60,000!

We are looking for individuals passionate about service and leadership! Our hotel hosts events such as receptions, meetings, trainings, and reunions, offering great exposure for our venue. It’s essential to have a team focused on quality, service, and timeliness to ensure our success and attract more business.

The Assistant Banquet Manager supervises the Banquet staff and works alongside the Banquet Manager to coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
  2. Lead and motivate the team, ensuring all quality standards are met.
  3. Greet guests and attend to their needs during events.
  4. Communicate effectively with guests regarding menu questions.
  5. Assist in delivering food and beverages to guests as needed.
  6. Support other servers during peak times with food delivery and guest requests.
  7. Train team members in plated and reception-style meal service (training provided).
  8. Anticipate guest needs and monitor their dining experience for satisfaction.
  9. Respond promptly and courteously to requests.
  10. Oversee setup, execution, and cleanup of events.
  11. Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
  12. Keep service areas clean and safe at all times.
  13. Maintain a professional appearance.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Starting Pay: $60,000 per year

Experience
  • Preferred: Experience in hospitality or event management is a plus.
  • Required: Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Required: Must pass a background check.
  • Required: Courteous and respectful behavior towards guests, clients, and colleagues.
  • Required: Punctuality, reliability, and flexibility with scheduling.
