Salary: $16.35-$23.00

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Assists the bakery manager with overseeing daily operations by ensuring policies and procedures regarding merchandising, sanitation, and training are followed. Inspects bakery products to maintain quality and availability, promoting sales opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Consistently work within company 5S efficiency standards to provide excellent customer service, including smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers.
2. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
3. Assist with bakery operations, including preparation, baking, merchandising, and presentation of bakery products.
4. Run the department in the absence of the manager.
5. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
6. Maintain proper product variety to meet customer needs.
7. Adhere to all sanitation regulations, keeping a clean work environment.
8. Fulfill all customer special orders.
9. Assist in training and developing bakery associates to meet standards.
10. Follow safety policies and train associates accordingly.
11. Help maintain inventory levels in freezers, coolers, back rooms, and supplies.
12. Learn financial aspects of the bakery, including paperwork, shrink, transfers, and budgets.
13. Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
14. Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to manage others and follow through to achieve results.
