Insomnia Cookies is hiring for a full-time Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Dallas - Victory Park store, seeking hospitality-focused individuals to join a rapidly growing, national brand.

You will perform as Manager-on-Duty, supervise 2-5 teammates, and lead onboarding and interviews in the absence of the GM, while supporting ordering, inventory, and scheduling with a focus on upselling and top service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail setting.
• Experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly staff.
• Proficient with Point-of-Sale systems and MS Office.
• Able to work a 4-5 day week with Thurs-Sun shifts.
• Must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the GM is absent.
• Supervise and train 2-5 team members on cookie sales and deliveries.
• Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
• Conduct initial interviews for new hires in the manager’s absence.
• Assist with ordering, inventory control and scheduling.
• Maintain Insomnia Cookies’ standards across staff and operations.
• Upsell and deliver excellent customer service.

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
• Supervise, train and coach 2-5 team members engaged in both cookie sales and customer deliveries.
• Lead new hourly staff onboarding and initial training.
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders and Delivery Drivers) in the manager’s absence.
• Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control and scheduling.
• Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies’ standards (baking, uniform, company policies, etc.).
• Upselling and overall customer service excellence - Ensuring all team members are also upselling and providing the best customer service.

Desired skills/experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or retail store
• Prior experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff
• Prior Point of Sale (POS) systems experience
• Ability to utilize MS Office, Word and our Applicant Tracking System
• Ability to work a 4-5 day work week and 1-2 mid-to-late shifts throughout the latter part of the week (Thurs- Sun)
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have legal eligibility for employment in the United States
