Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Baker to join our Sterling, VA bakery team. You will support the Baker in creating consistent, high‑quality cakes using established recipes and safe food‑handling practices.

You’ll help with prep, mixing, baking, and packaging to ensure guest orders are met on time and to our standards. You’ll be trained on our production methods and food safety standards, with opportunities to grow your skills and advance within the bakery.

Qualifications

• No formal degrees required; ability to follow recipes and maintain cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork and communication with Bakers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes and cake production methods with precision.
• Use measuring tools, mixers, and ovens to bake cakes.
• Prepare raw ingredients and stage cake pans for the oven.
• Assist Baker with daily baking and production flow.
