Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Baker to join our team in Sterling, VA. You will support the Baker to ensure high-quality cakes are produced consistently for our guests, following strict NbC recipes and production methods.

You will work with measuring tools, commercial mixers, and ovens to prepare ingredients, bake, and package cakes. Training and career growth opportunities are offered in a supportive, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision.
• Prepares raw ingredients and equipment for baking.
• Maintains proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes; keeps logs.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC recipes and production methods with precision to meet productivity goals.
• Uses measuring tools, mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
• Prepares ingredients and equipment for baking and places pans in hot ovens; monitors baking process.
• Assists with daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Ensures proper packaging, labeling, storage and rotation of products; maintains logs.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the workstation and ensures supplies for the next shift.
• Adheres to health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene.
• Keeps a reliable attendance and punctuality record.
